FDA Blasted over BPA Decision by Independent Scientific Advisory Panel

The FDA is full of bunk when it comes to declaring Bisphenol-A to be safe, declared an independent scientific advisory panel today. This "highly critical report" essentially says the FDA was outright lying to the public and betraying public safety when it said BPA was safe enough for infants to drink. Apparently, the FDA's conspiracy with the chemical industry is just too much for even the mainstream media to continue swallowing.
From Washingtonpost.com: In a highly critical report to be released today, the panel of scientists from government and academia said the FDA did not take into consideration scores of studies that have linked bisphenol A (BPA) to prostate cancer, diabetes and other health problems in animals when it completed a draft risk assessment of the chemical last month. The panel said the FDA didn't use enough infant formula samples and didn't adequately account for variations among the samples.... more
