Food Allergies on the Rise as Children Fed Junk Food Diets

Food allergies have increased by 18% in children over the last ten years. Any guess as to why? It's because children are being increasingly fed junk foods, processed foods and foods made with toxic chemicals that imbalance the immune system, causing abnormal immune system responses. Health authorities, as usual, remain mystified by the increase, and they think that more drugs are the answer.
From Usatoday.com: Some children had particularly severe reactions. About 9,500 a year were hospitalized for food allergies from 2004 to 2006 — more than 3½ times as many as in 1998 to 2000, according to the study. Researchers based their analysis on the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's 2007 National Health Interview Study, which included 9,500 children, and the National Hospital Discharge Survey, which includes 270,000 patient records.... more
