Doctors often push aspirin pills onto diabetics, hoping it will protect their heart. It's stupid, of course. If they really want to protect their hearts, they'd recommend heart-enhancing herbs, omega-3 oils or changes in diet that eliminate animal products and dairy. New research now shows pushing aspirin onto diabetics is useless at preventing heart disease.
