FDA to Approve Genetically Engineered Animals; Treat them as Corporate Intellectual Property

Nothing surprises me anymore. Now the FDA is poised to approve genetically engineered animals, allowing them to be used to grow meat, drugs and various animal byproducts. The "Franken-animals" will be treated as corporate intellectual property, of course, and their approval processes will remain mostly secret.
