ADM, Monsanto to Study Converting Corn Waste to Biofuels

Looks like these two evil companies are trying to do something green for a change: They're going to study whether it's economically feasible to convert corn stalks (and other corn waste) into biofuels or animal feed.
From Chicagotribune.com: Three agribusiness giants - Archer Daniels Midland Co., Deere & Co. and Monsanto Co. - disclosed Tuesday that they have agreed to collaborate on research to explore the potential of turning crop residue into feed and bio-energy products. By creating feed and energy products from these byproducts, the companies said, farmers would be able to increase the value derived from each acre.... more
