Scabes is a small skin infection from a mite that usually comes from infected bedding. It can cause excoriated vesicles and pustules in the skin. Pediculosis is the medical term for lice, which can affect the head hair or the genital hair. It is transmitted through bedclothes, touch, and genital contact.
