It's really not that difficult to pronounce. If you can say, "Fridge" or "Freezer" or "Fries" then you can say "Frustrate." But for some reason, some people can't, which is very fustrating for everybody else. Consider this: Dropping the "R" from "frustrate" makes you sound about as smart as someone who says, "LIBARY" instead of, "LIBRARY." And if you don't believe me, you can look it up at the libary yourself.

About 35 years ago, Dr Hoffer examined 12 of the most difficult prisoners in Prince Albert Penitentiary in Saskatchewan and found that nine of them were paranoid schizophrenics. This does not mean that patients with schizophrenia are any more prone to criminal and antisocial behavior than the general population. However, when schizophrenic patients do commit a crime, it often has that 'particularly difficult to understand' quality seen in multiple murders or random shootings. |

It's very difficult to give up drinking soft drinks, for example, if you've been drinking them for many years. It's difficult to change your foods and change your lifestyle. It's difficult to take up an exercise program and actually stick with it for 90 days to the point where it becomes an ingrained habit.
This is the answer that I think applies to most people. It's not that they want to harm their bodies, and it's not that they don't believe the information, it's that when they go home for the day, they have a pattern. When they take a lunch break at work, they have a pattern. |

It's also difficult to experience any health effects from this water if you're already healthy. This is one of the challenges I often face in trying new health-related products: Since I'm not suffering from any disease or nutritional deficiency, it's often very difficult for me to feel any significant difference in such products, whereas other people who are in a worse state of general health might notice a huge difference. So I can't say that I felt any more energy or clarity after drinking this water, but that might simply be because I feel a lot of energy and clarity on a daily basis anyway. |

It is very clear that the person who desires prevention must have strong motivation and support from the optometrist. But the solution must start with your own willpower.
What are the difficulties of "recovery"? Mr. De Angelis and prevention-minded optometrists are clear on that point. The public demands immediate results and does not listen to explanations. |

The features of the BC-900 sound very strong on paper, but in actually using the product, I found it to be extremely confusing, difficult to use and finicky. The display has no backlight, making it quite difficult to read, and the control buttons don't respond in a timely manner. Each time I inserted a battery, I ended up pressing the buttons several times to get the setting I wanted. |

When it comes to energy devices, the field of available products is quite diverse, and it's very difficult for the consumer to know what works and what doesn't. Some devices in the market don't have any power source and they don't use any electricity to generate an energy field, so it's difficult to know if they're really doing anything. But the VRCR does use a power source and produces quite evident effects; you can feel, hear and see the results of the energy it produces. |

Prevention: Fungal infections are quite difficult to treat and are often ^Ll recurring. The adjacent skin of the nail on the toe is also usually infected. The i r disease is causes a discoloration of the nail in the form of a yellow or white if patch. This usually starts at the tip of the nail, spreads to the sides, and then to the base. The color becomes darker and the nail becomes thick, crumbly, and splits from the nail bed, which can be very painful. The usual cause is a group of fungi called dermatophytes. As you get older, the risk of nail infection increases. |

| Also, asthma is notoriously difficult to diagnose in children younger than two, and wheezing can be a sign of any of a number of viral infections that typically don't respond to inhaled corticosteroids.
"Both studies together strengthen the evidence that treatment with inhaled corticosteroids doesn't alter the natural course of asthma," says Gold. However, "That doesn't mean that [they] shouldn't be used very selectively with young kids who are having frequent symptoms," she adds. |

PERIODONTITIS
DIAGNOSIS
Periodontitis is a serious form of gum disease where severe inflammation of the gums is accompanied by erosion of the bone and ligaments that support the teeth. This can eventually lead to a tooth becoming loose in its socket and falling out. How quickly the disease progresses largely depends on the type of bacteria present and how well your body's natural defenses work against it. |

| Therefore, PSA levels can be difficult to interpret.
What is a "normal" PSA level? Until the last several years, it was defined as below 4.0 nanograms/milliliter (ng/mL), but newer data on prostate cancer have made it clear that a man's risk often rises at lower PSA levels. Many experts now say that 2.5 or below is normal for men in their 40s.. .up to 3-5 is normal for men in their 50s.. .up to 4.5 is normal for men in their 60s... and up to 6.5 is normal for men 70 and older. PSA levels naturally rise with age, even in the absence of cancer. |

Sandy soil drains rapidly, making ir difficult for plants to grow. Intermediate in size between sand and clay, silt is ideal for growing crops because it retains enough water to nourish plants, yet drains quickly enough to prevent waterlogging. In particular, the mix of clay, silt, and sand referred to as loam makes the ideal agricultural soil because it allows for free air circulation, good drainage, and easy access to plant nutrients.
Clay minerals are peculiar in that they have a phenomenal amount of surface area. |
| Falling crop yields made it difficult to feed the army and maintain the bureaucracy that allocated surplus food. As their armies deteriorated, the independent city-states were assimilated by the younger Akkadian empire from northern Mesopotamia at the time of the first serious decline in crop yields around 2300 bc. During the next five hundred years the region fell to a succession of conquerors. By 1800 bc crop yields were down to a third of the initial yields and southern Mesopotamia declined into an impoverished backwater of the Babylonian Empire. |
| If agriculture was more difficult and time-consuming than hunting and gathering, why did people take it up in the first place?
Increasing population density provides an attractive explanation for the origin and spread of agriculture. When hunting and gathering groups grew beyond the capacity of their territory to support them, parr of the group would split off and move to new territory. Once there was no more productive territory to colonize, growing populations developed more intensive (and time-consuming) ways to extract a living from their environment. |
| Most of the planet has poor soils that are difficult to farm, or are vulnerable to rapid erosion if cleared and tilled. Globally, temperate grassland soils are the most important to agriculture because they are incredibly fertile, with thick, organic-rich A horizons. Deep and readily tilled, these soils underlie the great grain-producing regions of the world.
A civilization can persist only as long as it retains enough productive soil to feed its people. A landscape's soil budget is just like a family budget, with income, expenses, and savings. |
| Mortgaging our grandchildren's future by consuming soil faster than it forms, we face the dilemma that sometimes the slowest changes prove most difficult to stop.
For most of recorded history, soil occupied a central place in human cultures. Some of the earliest books were agricultural manuals that passed on knowledge of soils and farming methods. The first of Aristotle's fundamental elements of earth, air, fire, and water, soil is the root of our existence, essential to life on earth. But we treat it as a cheap industrial commodify. Oil is what most of us think of as a strategic material. |

Extended skin contact with the freshly-harvested, bruised plant can lead to blister formation and cauterizations, which are difficult to heal due to the protoanemonine released, that is severely irritating to skin and mucous membranes. If taken internally, severe irritation to the gastrointestinal tract, combined with colic and diarrhea, as well as with irritation of the urinary drainage passages are possible. Symptomatic treatment for external contact should consist of mucilage, after irrigation with diluted potassium permanganate solution. |

GIVE HOPE
People often talk about their own experiences when they meet a person who has cancer. Their intention may be to show empathy or unload their own burdens, but the stories can hurt more than help.
Example: When people heard about my diagnosis, many said things like, Lung cancer— that's really bad. A waiter at an Italian restaurant even told me that his wife died of the same cancer. He shared all the gruesome details—about the surgery, how the cancer returned and how she died. |

| Why doctors should be among them may not be that difficult to understand. People like Ruth Spector, who are middle-age physicians today, learned to make chemicals the old-fashioned way, just as Li Dou and Yiping Hu did in China—they built them. In addition, physicians work with compounds like alcohols, anesthetics and chemotherapeutic drugs that are also recognized to cause cancer.
