It depends on us to supply those needs. Given the right tools, it will be able to perform the way it wants to and was meant to. |
| When we have diarrhea, we need to recognize that the body is reacting this way for a purpose and needs our cooperation. Diarrhea is the body's natural action of quickly removing harmful toxins from the intestinal tract.
Occasional or unexpected diarrhea is usually due to the consumption of toxic foods, poisons, or too much food (which becomes toxic in quantities greater than the digestive system can handle). It may also accompany intestinal flu, or periods of emotional or physical stress. |

WHAT DOES HEALTH LOOK LIKE?
Some of the characteristics of a totally healthy person, devoid of all toxins, would be the following:17
Neither overweight nor underweight. Solid muscular build. No weakness or fatigue. þBright eyes, whites not yellow or blood shot. No presence of disease or illness.
Quick healing of injuries.
Clear, soft, and smooth skin.
Sweet breath.
No body odor.
Craving for natural foods. |
| Diarrhea and constipation are not mystery ailments; they are reactions of your body requiring your cooperation to correct. A headache is not caused by a deficiency of analgesic pain relievers, but is from a stressed body due to emotional pressures, or toxins in the blood that the body is trying to eliminate.
You need to listen to your body and respond in a supportive way. Illness symptoms have causes. They are our friends. They are cries for us to cooperate with the healing process so the underlying causes can be corrected. |

| Lack of cooperation in the current system is one of the major causes of medical error, and it encourages overtreatment. We would want our doctors to work as a team not only when we were hit with acute disease or injury but also when we had a chronic condition that required constant monitoring for many years. And while we're asking, we should wish for a system that doesn't consume such a large percentage of gross domestic product. That means we need hospitals to be efficient; they should deliver the best care they can for the lowest cost. |
