Aloe vera cures gum disease
Want a simple, effective cure for gum disease? It's easy: Just sprinkle some of this aloe vera powder on your toothbrush before brushing. The aloe vera powder actually heals gums and eliminates gum disease.
Merely drinking the aloe also helps heal your gums: Just swish the liquid around your mouth a few times before each swallow. You'll be bathing your gums in healing aloe gel, and they'll begin to heal rapidly. Even severe cases of gum disease can be completely cured in a matter of weeks using aloe vera gel. |

In fact, I've recommend Spry gum to a great number of people and every one of them has thanked me for that recommendation because they've enjoyed this gum so much.
So what's so good about Spry gum? It's made with xylitol. Xylitol is a form of sugar that has a very low glycemic index. It's actually a sugar alcohol that's found naturally in trees and tree pulp. Xylitol tastes sweet, just like sugar, but it doesn't have the glycemic impact of sugar and at the same time it actually prevents cavities rather than promoting them (like typical refined white sugar would). |
| By chewing xylitol, you not only get the taste pleasure from chewing great-tasting gum, you also get the health benefit of reducing the number of cavities you are likely to experience. Spry gum is also made with other natural ingredients such as soy lecithin and beeswax. Although some of the available flavors for this product (such as strawberry) do contain artificial flavors, the flavors I recommend (cinnamon and spearmint) contain only naturally-occurring oils and flavors.
I've tried all the available flavors of Spry gum, and I like cinnamon the best. |
| The flavor simply fades away in record time, leaving you chewing a flavorless gum base. So stick with the cinnamon and spearmint if you want long-lasting flavor.
You can purchase Spry gum at www.sprydental.com or any local health food store. It's also available online from a large number of retailers. The company that makes Spry dental is Xlear, which also makes other xylitol-based products such as a nasal wash that helps clear chronic sinus congestion by relying on the antibacterial properties of xylitol. (It's an excellent product for reducing ear infections in infants as well. |

The harder you bite down, the more aggressive the gum massage gets. Personally, I know the HydraBrush is a great gum stimulator -- because even though I have good dental health and I floss regularly, my gums bled slightly the first time I used the HydraBrush. Not in any kind of a painful way, but just enough to let me know that I still have room for improvement in my gum sensitivity. But then, the next time I used the HydraBrush, there was no bleeding at all -- and after using it routinely for several weeks now, my gums have greatly improved their health and appearance. |
| It is, however, a great gum stimulator and I've already noticed an improvement in my gum health after using the HydraBrush device. The gum stimulation is just aggressive enough to really build up your gums and reduce their sensitivity to flossing or other forms of stimulation.
You can also adjust the aggressiveness of the brush by adjusting your bite on the HydraBrush dual heads. The harder you bite down, the more aggressive the gum massage gets. |

But if you want a gum product that's going to protect your health and prevent dental cavities, the way to go is to buy a gum based on xylitol. And from my research, Spry is the number one choice out there. |

Another important use for aloe vera gel is in curing gum disease. Simply adding some aloe vera flakes to your toothbrush each day, then brushing your teeth with aloe vera, will have a dramatically positive impact on your gum health. In fact, I highly recommend that when you're drinking an aloe vera beverage, swish it around your mouth a few times before swallowing. This will coat your gums with aloe vera gel, inhibiting the growth of damaging bacteria and providing healing nutrients to delicate gum tissues. |

Despite their pedestrian applications as fillers, sizing agents, and binders, these materials have exotic names such as gum tra-gacanth, gum arabic, and gum karaya. At best, none is a very strong glue (one tends not to make furniture out of papier-mache, after all), but just as with protein collagen, none is particularly toxic, either. water solubility
The animal glues and the vegetable gums may differ in their strength and utility, but they have one very important thing in common: both are water soluble. |

REPPED: Let me introduce you to the gum you should be chewing if you're not chewing it already. This is a chewing gum product that has absolutely no dangerous ingredients like saccharine, aspartame, or sucrolose. It also has no refined carbohydrates such as sugar or high-fructose corn syrup. It has no artificial colors and actually contains an ingredient that prevents tooth decay. The product I'm talking about is called Spry. You can learn about it at www.sprydental. |

EUCALYPTUS
A great deal of Australian history can be traced from the bushmen who first distilled eucalyptus from the leaves of the blue mallee gum tree, in the very early days of settlement in Australia. Although almost all Australian gum trees are eucalypts, this particular species contains the most aromatic and potent oil, and so is the most suitable to harvest from.
Today, the blue mallee gum grows in abundance throughout the world, so the oil is also produced worldwide. Eucalyptus oil is probably the most effective and natural remedy to help reduce the severity of an asthma attack. |

Gingivitis is the accumulation of plaque around the teeth that causes the gum tissue to become swollen, red, and infected. The gums often bleed. Aside from poor dental maintenance and care, a poor diet, poorly fitted fillings that irritate the gums, and frequent breathing through the mouth can also aggravate or cause gingivitis.
If gingivitis goes untreated, it can develop into periodontitis. This ailment is also often related to a deficiency of calcium, folic acid, niacin, bioflavonoid, or vitamin C. |

Spry gum with xylitol
Moving along, another product that I am increasingly excited about is called Spry gum. It is something I've mentioned to several people now, and they're chewing on it too. Spry gum is a gum that's sweetened with xylitol, which is of course an alternative sugar replacement product derived from trees. Xylitol looks and tastes just like sugar to you, but in your mouth, xylitol actually inhibits the acid production by bacteria that would normally be working to create cavities in your mouth when they consume sugar. |

The increased prevalence of dental problems, including periodontitis (bacterial destruction of the bone and tissue supporting the teeth), abscesses, gingivitis (inflamed gums), dry mouth, and soft tissue lesions, among people with prediabetes or diabetes is associated with oxidative stress, glycation-induced damage, and increased risk of infection in gum tissue. Glycotoxins damage blood vessels, collagen, and other tissues and thus compromise the health of the gums and teeth. |

(By the way, most people with gum disease are also chronically deficient in vitamin D, so if you boost your vitamin D intake while treating your gums with aloe vera gel, your results will be greatly accelerated!)

Studies also show that smoking increases the chances of developing gum disease, a contributing factor in poor glycemic control. In fact, smokers are five times more likely than nonsmokers to have gum disease. For smokers with diabetes, the risk is even greater. If you are a smoker with diabetes, age 45 or older, you are twenty times more likely than a person without these risk factors to get severe gum disease.82

From this, Hoffer hypothesized that the niacin had increased the rate of repair of gum tissues, which had been under physical stress from maloccluded teeth.
Professor Altschul thought that the most important single pathological factor in coronary disease was the inability of the intima (the inner wall of the blood vessel) to repair itself, especially where the blood stream changed direction, causing the greatest stress to the arteries. As Altschul explained this hypothesis to him, Hoffer recalled his bleeding gums and suggested that niacin might be able to heal the arterial wall's intima. |

Balsam of Peru and balsam of tolu are widely available now in the U.S. natural products market. The resinous gum, or the essential oil distilled from the gum, is sold in small bottles and used topically, in aromatherapy, and taken internally in small amounts. Generally, its topical use is recommended for skin rashes, eczema, and skin parasites. |
