Comfrey: This herb can be used topically to relieve pain and heal tissue. It is cooling and moisturizing, and acts as a mild analgesic and potent anti-inflammatory. It can be used to heal trauma to the bones, arthritis, bruises, tendonitis, and bursitis. Create a poultice of fresh or moistened roots and leaves by mashing them into a paste (add water if needed). | Place the poultice (or paste) on the affected area. |
| Herbs: Take 80 mg of black cohosh twice a clay; studies show that it alleviates hot flushes. Chaste berry has historically been used to prevent of hot flashes. Take 160-240 mg of an 0.6 % aucubin extract daily. Take 40 mg of red clover twice a day, as it has been shown to reduce some of the symptoms of menopause.
