There are two categories of products marketed to sell this lie — thermogenic aids and appetite suppressants. Thermogenic aids claim to increase your metabolism to cause your body to burn more calories when at rest. Examples of thermogenic aids are the caffeine in coffee and teas, and natural compounds such as guarana and ephedra. Increasing your metabolism is naturally achieved with increased levels of physical activity. It is much better and safer to take a pass on the nachos and exercise than to use thermogenic aids. |

If they pass a federal law mandating national aids testing, I promise I'll be at the head of the march on Washington, holding up the banner of health freedom and demanding the law be ruled unconstitutional. It is, technically, a violation of the 4th Amendment, because mandatory aids testing is an illegal search of your body. |
| But what I am saying is that the label "AIDS" is rather loosely applied to a great number of people who are really only suffering from correctable biological side effects of making poor lifestyle decisions (food choice, diet, lack of exercise, use of recreational drugs). If you'd like to see some supporting information from doctors and researchers who have looked into the aids question in great detail, check out Dr. Peter Duesberg's website. Dr. |

"… the agents removed from the church to the waiting vans some tens of thousands of copies of over twenty Church books, texts, recorded sermons; even the Church archives were sacked. The confiscated material was handled roughly, and when ministers of the Church asked that their property be handled more carefully, the 'deputies' from Baltimore gave only sneering illiteracies for answer. |

That would do a lot more good than testing people for AIDS; we have well over half the population now suffering from chronic vitamin D deficiencies, and that number is even higher in those with dark skin pigmentation because of its UV blocking effect. Why don't we test people for that? I'll tell you why we don't: because if you test the country for vitamin D and you find that half the population doesn't have enough vitamin D, then you can't sell them overpriced pharmaceutical products to solve their "disease. |

With a disease like aids, where the immune system is partially destroyed, cold sores are often a major problem.
AIDS patients can become quite sick with reactivated EBV. And rarely, patients without aids can actually develop chronic active EBV infection. In all of these patients, active virus can usually be found, and antibodies against early antigen can be found at high levels. In contrast to people with chronic fatigue, these patients are usually extremely sick, with evidence of disease in the liver, lungs, or eyes. |

On my list of the top 1000 things that we need to do to improve the health of our population, testing the whole country for aids is somewhere down around #972. There are so many other things that we should be doing first. If we want to invest the effort of testing the whole population for something, let's start by testing for nutritional deficiencies and treating those with low-cost, commonly available vitamins, minerals and food supplements that can not only prevent chronic disease, but can actually help reverse diseases. Let's start there. |
| Why wouldn't the same gig work with aids, too? Heck, why not create a whole slew of fictional diseases like Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and milk people for money selling quack treatments through the channels of organized medicine? In fact, that's exactly what's happening. (Or, if that doesn't work, you can always just redefine diseases. A year ago, if your LDL cholesterol was 110, you were considered normal. Today, you're considered diseased and will be put on a statin drug. Same LDL cholesterol, new definition. Neat medical shell game, huh? |

Can you imagine the outcry if medical authorities started locking up aids patients? Don't dismiss this idea: It could be next. Any tyrannical health system that can stick a gun in the face of a teenage boy with TB and throw him in prison is perfectly capable of sticking a gun in the face of an aids patient and locking them away, too. Today it's TB, tomorrow it could be HIV. (Just wait for the "AIDS camps" to become official U.S. policy...)

The FDA headquarters in Rockville,
Maryland, was the site of a protest by aids activists. Over 1,000 protesters chanted, "Hey, hey, FDA, how many people have you killed today?" The activists did not want an explanation concerning why the FDA used a very deliberate approval process. They knew aids would likely take their lives before life-saving drugs were ever available to physicians. One aids victim from Chicago announced, "We are here for all the people with aids, but we are also here for all the other people with life-threatening illnesses who need drugs now. |

It is, technically, a violation of the 4th Amendment, because mandatory aids testing is an illegal search of your body. For those who may have forgotten that the Bill of Rights actually exists (I know, it's been difficult to remember in the post 9/11 era), here's a reminder of what the 4th Amendment says:
The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated... |

| Optometrist: Although not a physician, a doctor of optometry (OD) has specialized training in vision problems and in treating vision conditions with glasses, contact lenses, low-vision aids, and vision therapy. Optometrists can test for such conditions as glaucoma, cataracts, and macular degeneration and prescribe medications for certain eye diseases.
¦ Optician: Also not a physician, an optician specializes in making and adjusting eyeglasses and other optical aids from prescriptions written by an ophthalmologist or optometrist.

Acquired immune deficiency syndrome, or aids, by contrast, is not an autoimmune disease; in fact, it is entirely different. In aids a virus attacks the immune system and destroys it, whereas in autoimmune disease, the immune system leads the attack, mistaking the body's tissue for an invader and turning on the body itself.) Autoimmune diseases are the eighth leading cause of death among women, shortening the average patient's lifespan by fifteen years. |

That's why the "I" and "D" in aids stand for Immune Deficiency; as aids patients lose their T-cells and their immunity to disease drops, they are more susceptible to the kinds of invading organisms—opportunistic infections—that healthy immune systems easily fend off.
Studies like those conducted by Dr. Ironson are especially meaningful to physicians and biologists because they identify key biological markers of illness, as opposed to subjective measures such as the patient's level of depression, the number of doctor visits, and the dosage of medication required.

Magnesium Magnesium aids in bone growth, and the absorption of calcium and vitamins C, E, and B complex. It promotes healthy nerves and muscles. Magnesium deficiencies may result in skin problems, seizures, slow weight gain, and muscle weakness. Natural sources of magnesium are wheat germ, molasses, cod, carp, halibut, shrimp, green vegetables, and nuts.
Manganese Manganese aids in cell function, and promotes cartilage and bone growth. Manganese deficiencies may result in poor growth, and problems with the joints and discs. |

One measure was their viral load—the quantity of the aids virus in a sample of blood. She also counted the concentration of a type of white blood cell responsible for killing invading organisms. The concentration of these "helper T-cells" (also known as CD4 cells) in the blood is one measure of the progression of aids. If the concentration of helper T-cells drops, our bodies are less able to fend off other diseases like pneumonia. |

"If it is contamination from dirt the patient is afraid of, we teach the person how to touch objects and not to be afraid of them. Then we prevent the patient from washing their hands; in other words, they must remain unclean for awhile. I'm talking about patients who, when they are seriously ill, might completely use up one or two bars of soap per day. They might engage in rituals of washing for many hours. |

Elisabeth herself had been dabbling in her own studies of mind—body medicine, undoubtedly because she'd had nothing much else to offer patients with advanced aids, even though she was deeply skeptical of Hay's approach. One of her own early studies had shown that group therapy was as good as Prozac for treating depression in aids patients.1 She'd also read of the work of David Spiegel at Stanford Medical School, showing that group therapy dramatically increased life expectancy for women with breast cancer. |

I've personally talked to a gentleman who had full-blown aids. He took this peptide once a day for thirty days and his aids is completely gone. This could be an isolated case. Would this natural miracle work on every aids patient or every sufferer of a virus or bacteria? I don't know the answer. We would have to test it on every patient to find out, but the answer is—does it work on many people? Yes, I've personally talked to them. As a matter of fact, I've personally taken this myself. |

Rock made his point quite eloquently by focusing on aids. But aids patients then and now make up a tiny slice of the U.S. drug market. Now there are conditions where the potential for consumers is counted in the tens of millions. Pharmaceutical companies offer multipie drugs for elevated cholesterol, which millions of patients are urged to take for years, if not a lifetime. |

The New York City Administration for Children's Services begins allowing foster care children living in about two dozen children's homes to be used in National Institutes of Health-sponsored (NIH) experimental aids drug trials. These children -- totaling 465 by the program's end -- experience serious side effects, including inability to walk, diarrhea, vomiting, swollen joints and cramps. Children's home employees are unaware that they are giving the HIV-infected children experimental drugs, rather than standard aids treatments (New York City ACS, Doran).
