(NaturalNews) The unconstitutional tax penalty known as "Obamacare" is hitting many compliant American taxpayers hard as they file their 2014 tax returns. Steep fines for not carrying private health insurance, and proving it on IRS tax forms, are coming as a surprise to many taxpayers who were unaware of just how much they would be forced to pay for not enrolling.

The fine of $95 or 1 percent of household income, whichever is higher, that taxpayers without health coverage are being forced to pay will jump sharply to $325 or 2 percent of household income next year. But because the official enrollment period for 2015 has already passed, uninsured taxpayers won't have another opportunity to enroll this year before hitting next year's penalties.

To apparently decrease the risk of being lynch-mobbed for their treason against the American people, several lawmakers who helped usher Obamacare through the system against the will of the people have proposed establishing a special enrollment period that offers people more time to sign up for health insurance without having to pay the penalties.

According to The Associated Press, Representatives Sander Levin (D-Mich.), Jim McDermott (D-Wash.) and Lloyd Doggett (D-Tex.), each of whom helped ram Obamacare through congressional debates, are proposing an extension period that will allow the roughly four million uninsured taxpayers who are threatened with penalties more time to enroll.

"Open enrollment period ended before many Americans filed their taxes," stated the three traitors. "Without a special enrollment period, many people (who will be paying fines) will not have another opportunity to get health coverage this year."

All those people who will be robbed of their hard-earned money by corrupt politicians like Levin, McDermott and Doggett, who are now pretending as though they're the taxpayers' friend by proposing enrollment extensions, have to realize that these three are the enemy, as are all the rest in Congress who passed this "law" in the first place.

Forcing the public to purchase private health insurance or else pay fines goes against everything America's founders envisioned for a free people. By complying with unjust penalties for an unlawful mandate like Obamacare, American taxpayers are complicit in their own enslavement. No matter what the courts claim, forcing people to purchase something under duress is illegal.

For one, the U.S. Constitution requires that all tax bills must originate in the House of Representatives. Obamacare originated in the Senate, and it was rushed through with many Congressmen not even reading it, and with no public oversight whatsoever. By definition, Obamacare is illegal under American law.

Second, nearly all of the claims made about Obamacare in order to get the American people to accept it were lies, including that those insured under it would get to keep their doctors. MIT professor Jonathan Gruber, one of Obamacare's principal architects, admitted that everything about the law was "made deliberately obscure and deceptive" in order to get it passed quickly, as paraphrase by The Washington Post.

"[Obamacare is] unconstitutional because... primarily there is no Enumerated Power that says, 'Congress shall have [the] power to compel citizens to buy products they don't want and to pay for the purchase of products of which other people are the beneficiaries,'" commented one libertarian blogger at the Tenth Amendment Center.

Rather than continue to allow the ruling elite to divide and conquer, the American people need to unite and stand against their true enemy, which has infiltrated nearly every level of government. Obamacare, and the entire federal income tax system, for that matter, is a fraud that, hopefully one day, the American people will collectively recognize and forcibly abolish.
