Biotech front man Jon Entine exposed as wikipedia vandal and violent wife abuser in public court documents

Jon Entine

(NaturalNews) This is a continuation from Part Two of a comprehensive investigative report revealing the untold story behind Jon Entine, biotech shill, character assassination operative, Forbes.com writer, American Enterprise Institute fellow and George Mason University research fellow. Jon Entine also has ties to Monsanto and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.

To protect the identity of Jon Entine's daughter, her name has been changed in this report to "Jenny." (Natural News asks members of the media to refrain from publishing the daughter's real name in plain text, as she is an innocent victim in these events.)

Part One of this Jon Entine investigative series revealed the verified court documents where Jon Entine's wife pleaded with the Ohio courts to issue a restraining order against Entine to protect herself and her daughter from physical injury. She also recorded, under oath, that Jon Entine violently attacked her, gouged her eye, choked her and shoved her. In additional court documents, Entine's wife described him as "irrational and unpredictable" ... "exceedingly hostile and belligerent" ... and explained that Jon Entine's "mental health has deteriorated..."

Part Two of this Jon Entine investigative series revealed how Jon Entine "purchased listening devices" to surveil his own wife, pursued romantic relationships in their home while she was still living there, interfered with his wife's professional business activities, and became "irrational and unpredictable" according to public court documents. It also covers how Jon Entine was fired from ABC News and reportedly manufactured false evidence to destroy a thriving company with a published hit piece.

A wikipedia vandal who defames real scientists questioning the safety of GMOs

Jon Entine was exposed as a Wikipedia vandal who used the public platform to smear research scientist Seralini whose research questioned the safety of GMOs.

As explained on the Jon Entine page at TruthWiki.org:

Entine has also worked to undermine Saralini on Wikipedia, using the handle "runjonrun". GM Watch was alerted by Wikipedia users to the fact that Entine was one of the early editors on a one-sided and originally potentially libellous Wikipedia article called "The Seralini affair", which denigrated Seralini's study and Seralini himself.

Entine, under the Wiki user name "runjonrun", was active in vandalizing the article by rapidly deleting balancing information, for example, about the scientific support for Seralini's study and the conflicts of interest among critics of the study.

In a previous Wiki spat, "runjonrun" had revealed his true identity as Jon Entine after upsetting other Wiki users by allegedly contravening Wiki conflict of interest guidelines and vandalising articles without justification.

GM Watch goes on to explain:

We were alerted by Wikipedia users to the fact that Entine was one of the early editors on a one-sided and originally potentially libellous Wikipedia article called "The Seralini affair", which denigrated Seralini's study and Seralini himself.

Entine, under the Wiki user name "runjonrun", was active in vandalising the article by rapidly deleting balancing information, for example, about the scientific support for Seralini's study and the conflicts of interest among critics of the study.

In an article entitled, "Smelling a Corporate Rate," SpinWatch.org also describes how Jon Entine, Henry Miller and Forbes.com staged a wave of attack pieces in an attempt to destroy the credibility of the Seralini study: [3]

Another key player in whipping up hostility to the paper was the American business magazine Forbes. In the ten days following the study's release, Forbes published no less than six separate attack pieces targeting not just the research but also the researchers. The first two pieces drew extensively on the quotes from the Science Media Centre and ran with them, but the Forbes piece that grabbed the most attention, particularly on social media, was one that kicked off with a headline that labeled the paper a fraud. The article went on to accuse Prof. Seralini not just of "gross scientific misconduct" but also of having "a long and sordid history" of "activism". The article concluded by bluntly telling the editors of Food and Chemical Toxicology that the only "honorable course of action for the journal would be to retract the paper immediately".

In addition to content vandalism, Entine also invokes truly despicable tactics to try to frame his opponents as criminals. To accomplish this, Entine selects GMO activists as targets, then he attempts to find criminal records of other people in the United States who share the same names. Entine then publishes content that imply the activists are criminals while touting the criminal records of someone who is entirely different.

This is done knowingly and maliciously by Entine, who appears to be willing to use any tactic whatsoever to disparage his enemies and selected targets, all while enjoying the publicity of his articles being published on Forbes.com, the Huffington Post, the American Enterprise Institute and other websites.

Forbes.com seems to be especially willing to run Jon Entine's articles, especially ones that attack GMO skeptics and activists with disparaging misinformation and false accusations. There is little question that Forbes.com seems so motivated to push the interests of the biotech industry that it will even allow a man whose own wife describes him as committing domestic violence and child abuse to post defamatory hit pieces on its website as long as these articles attack critics of the biotech industry.

Jon Entine demands to see his wife's diaries and personal journals

As part of a long, bitter divorce with his wife, Jon Entine attempted to use the courts to force her to turn over her own private diaries and personal journals (among other things). Year after year, he waged a vicious divorce campaign that sought to tie up his wife with seemingly endless subpoenas and outrageous requests. The full divorce documents, encompassing over 1,000 pages of public information, are available in PDF form at the Jon Entine page of Truthwiki.org.

One of those court requests is shown below, and it describes Jon Entine attempting to force his wife to give up her private diaries, journals and financial records:

This discovery requests the following:

Copies of all ...deposits, withdrawals and checks written for all checking accounts out of which you operated from January 1, 1993 to the present.

Copies of all personal diaries and / or notes or lists maintained in any form including without limitation tape recordings, handwritten journals, computer files, etc...

In addition, Entine attempted to subpoena Google in an effort to force the company to turn over all his wife's private emails. This is also revealed in document #15, linked above.

Jon Entine illegally enters wife's residence, wife demands "psychological evaluation"

Beyond gouging her eye, choking her and shoving her in front of their daughter according to court documents revealed in Part One of this investigative report, Jon Entine also illegally entered Ellen's home to try to get more money out of her during the divorce. After this bizarre event, his wife requested the court to order Jon Entine into a "psychological evaluation."

Husband concedes that he opened the door of Wife's residence to deliver a packet of unreimbursed medical expenses he was claiming were due from Wife... Wife seeks a psychological evaluation of Husband under Ohio Civil Rule 35 alleging his "inability to obey court orders and respect normal societal boundaries."

Entine threatens his daughter's therapist with legal action

Court documents also describe how Entine threatened to sue the therapist of his own daughter, secretly cancelling her therapy appointments even after he traumatized her with acts of violence aimed at her mother.

This is revealed in the following text (and screen capture) from the divorce PDFs published at the Jon Entine page on TruthWiki.org: (emphasis added)

Unbeknownst to Mother, however, [Entine] had already cancelled [daughter's] appointments for therapy... Father was... making unsupported and untrue claims that the parties had only agreed to a certain number of appointments. ... the GAL asked Father's counsel to intercede and to direct Father not to interfere with the therapy.

... Father proceeded to interfere again by seeking to interject himself into the process... Yet, his blatant disregard for the agreement reached continued on even after extended discussions... [Entine] again interfered with the therapist threatening him with legal action if he were to see [the daughter].

The [therapist] immediately contacted [Entine's] counsel to object to this blatant violation and Father's counsel advised he had directed Father to retract his threats. ...His actions led the therapist to determine that it was not fruitful to continue seeing [daughter] as [Entine] clearly has "poisoned the well..."

Beyond threatening one therapist with a lawsuit and "poisoning the well" of that therapist's hope for his daughter, Jon Entine sought to drag the therapist of his wife, Ellen Turner, into the divorce proceedings in violation of the fundamental tenants of privacy.

As the following court document also shows, Entine once again fabricates a false claim, stating that his wife agrees with her therapist being subpoenaed even though she actually doesn't:

[Entine] has filed a motion to compel Rita Robertson, a treating therapist of Plaintiff Ellen Turner, to comply with the subpoena issued to her. ...[Entine] falsely states that [Wife] does not object to this subpoena.
