Number of young children on Medicaid taking antipsychotic drugs has tripled in 10 years

(NaturalNews) If you pay "voluntary" federal income taxes every year to the fraudulent corporation known as the "United States of America," then you are inadvertently supporting the forced antipsychotic drugging of hundreds of thousands of young children who have fallen prey to the corrupt Medicaid system. According to new data, the number of young children -- by young, we are talking children as young as just one month old -- on Medicaid who are now taking taxpayer-funded antipsychotic drugs has tripled in just the past decade.

As reported by The Alliance for Natural Health USA (ANH-USA), the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) recently launched an investigation into what appears to be a massive Medicaid drugging scam that involves signing up the most helpless among us for dangerous drug protocols that could permanently damage their brain physiology and land them in mental hospitals or worse. And according to the latest available data, American taxpayers are now footing an annual bill to the tune of $3.8 billion for these dangerous antipsychotics to be given to children.

"In 2004, a child on Medicaid was four times more likely to be on antipsychotics than a child with private insurance," explains ANH-USA about the growing dilemma. "And it's not just the older kids: of the 600,000 minors in the Medicaid program who were on antipsychotics in 2008, more than half were under the age of 14."

In other words, children enrolled in what can only be described as the epitome of government-run "sick care" are being intentionally used by the system as profit maximizers for the drug industry, which routinely pays off politicians to get high-profit drugs on the priority list for distribution, all on the taxpayer dime, of course. Extreme antipsychotic drugs like Otsuka America Pharmaceutical, Inc.'s Ability, for instance, are now being handed out like candy to children by bureaucratic drones who are simply following orders by their superiors to provide this type of "care."

"This is nothing less than crony capitalism," notes ANH-USA. "[P]harmaceutical companies donate heavily to political campaigns, and legislators pass laws that compensate them in spades for the amount donated. Those who pay the real price are the poor and powerless."

Federal government blatantly complicit in the over-drugging of American children on Medicaid

In this case, such "laws" include things like buying U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approval for deadly antipsychotics, which used to be reserved for serious disorders like schizophrenia, to be used in children with questionable conditions, such as attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). Some infants on Medicaid are now even being fed antipsychotics to "help with discomfort," according to one spokeswoman from the Texas Health and Human Services Commission who recently tried to defend this overprescription travesty to The Wall Street Journal (WSJ).

HHS has reportedly requested that all 50 states engage in better oversight concerning how antipsychotics are prescribed and distributed, particularly to young children. But this move will likely not amount to much, as the HHS, like many other federal agencies, is a known co-conspirator in the scam, procuring the very guidances that recommend, as well as fund, foster parents administering psychotropic drugs to their foster children with alleged behavioral problems.

"If not antipsychotics, what do these kids need? An integrative physician who deals with either physical or psychiatric disorders should, of course, be your first and best resource," concludes ANH-USA. "And it should go without saying that all children need a secure, loving home, nutritious meals, regular exercise, and protection from abuse and other dangers. Importantly, that also means protection from abuse by the medical system."
