(NaturalNews) In a recent speech in Mexico City, US President Barack Obama, gave Mexico his take on the escalating gun violence, lying straight to the crowd's face:

"We understand that the root cause of violence that's been happening here in Mexico for which so many Mexicans have suffered is the demand for illegal drugs in the United States. We also recognize that most of the guns used to commit violence here in Mexico come from the United States."

Operation Fast and Furious goes unmentioned

As if blaming America's guns and their citizen's lust for drugs wasn't enough, Obama refused to acknowledge the most well-known gun smuggling operation that his own administration was a part of. In fact, nearly 2,000 U.S. guns were traced back to the Operation Fast and Furious gun walking program, in which the Obama Administration was found responsible for arming violent Mexican drug trafficking organizations. Initiated by ATF agents in the fall of 2009, Operation Fast and Furious was later exposed in December 2010 when two weapons from the government gun trafficking program turned up in the murder scene of border patrol agent Brian Terry.

Instead of speaking the truth about gun violence, Obama touted that, "We also recognize that most of the guns used to commit violence here in Mexico come from the United States."

What Obama should be saying is, "We recognize that most of the guns used to
commit violence here in Mexico come from the United States Government."

By blinding the Mexican people to the violence his own administration partakes in, Obama paints himself as a great unifier and peaceful savior. Obama pronounced, "I will continue to do everything in my power to pass common sense reforms to keep guns out of the hands of criminals and dangerous people that can save lives here in Mexico and back home in the United States. It's the right thing to do."

The reality: the Obama Administration is responsible for letting guns walk into the hands of violent drug cartels.

The real reason for the surging violence in Mexico

The real reasons for the increasing violence in Mexico is hidden from the public's eyes by political distractions and manipulative speeches. The real reasons exist within the government's direct ties to drug cartel leaders. In Operation Fast and Furious, ATF agents let federal guns "walk" into drug cartel rings, where they hoped to identify who the cartel leaders were. The US agency eventually lost track of the weapons. Most weapons found their way into the hands of violent hit men.

An attack that opened the public's eyes to the real root problem was carried out in Salvarcar and El Aliviane, a rehabilitation center in Ciudad Juarez. 18 young men were killed that day, September 2, 2009, and Fast and Furious weapons were used in the massacre.

Why didn't the Obama Administration mention this bloody massacre to those in Mexico City? Isn't Obama a caring, compassionate man who vows to get guns out of the hands of violent criminals? He doesn't mention reality, because in reality, the Obama Administration itself is to blame for arming violent hit men. His administration is responsible for taking US guns across the border and putting them into the hands of violent criminals. He's really not interested in disarming violent people. He's interested in hiding the fact that his administration is responsible for arming violent drug cartels. He's only truly interested in disarming responsible US gun owners. That's why he's making average citizens and their guns look criminal, all the while, masking the real bloody massacres that his administration partakes in.

Mexico's upsurge in violence linked to the upsurge in government guns

The recent upsurge in violence in Mexico is stemming from the government's injection of guns into the drug war. Two of Mexico's largest and most powerful cartels continue to show up with federally tagged guns.

In 2009, the northern Mexican states were a major battlefield for the Sinaloa and Juarez drug trafficking organizations, By the end of 2010, about 175 weapons from Operation Fast and Furious showed up in the hands of the warring cartels in Northern Mexico.

The truth really came out on the night of January 30, 2010. That night 20 hit men pulled up to Villa de Salvarcar, Ciudad Juarez. These assassins, hired hit men for the cartel La Linea, broke into a one story house and opened fire on nearly 60 teenagers having a party there. The ones who escaped were gunned down in the streets by spotters. The tragedy left pools of blood on the streets, 14 dead, and 12 wounded. The United States government was linked to three of the high-caliber weapons used that night.

That's not all. At least 57 ATF weapons have been directly tied to other incidences of violence in Mexico including massacres, kidnappings, and murders.

An administration bathed in bloody lies

What should President Obama really be saying to the Mexican people?

He should be apologizing for fueling the drug war there, increasing bloody massacres, and giving drug cartels the weapons they need to continue their reign.

As Obama blames normal Americans for the violence, he is lying outright. His administration is bathed in bloody deception and more people are beginning to see through the hope and change he exudes and the lies he promotes.
