(NaturalNews) Following the mysterious arrest / seizure of James Stewart, the 65-year-old "raw milk man" in California, questions immediately surfaced about why the bounty hunters were sent after him, who set up the bounty hunters to find him, and why was James mentioning Mark McAfee in the video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UYTP9C7jtrI
What led up to all this? James Stewart refused to appear in a Ventura County court case, which we know to be completely fabricated in the first place (it's based on allegations of financial fraud that simply cannot be linked to James in any credible way whatsoever). James, who had been tortured in the L.A. County jail for 8 days (http://www.naturalnews.com/035208_James_Stewart_torture_county_jail.h...), feared for his life and left the courtroom in Ventura rather than appear there and be thrown in jail. He told me he was determined to fight the case outside the system, where he could stay alive and not be beaten, starved or otherwise abused by the jail system there.
Unfortunately, people like Mark McAfee of Organic Pastures had put up a large amount of bail money in Ventura county to secure James' freedom. McAfee was on the hook for roughly $100,000 which had been secured by a lien on his house. Other friends of James were on the hook for $30,000 or so. The total bail reportedly came to $130,000.
Mark McAfee confirmed with me today that he helped arrange the bounty hunters to take custody of James.
"I am really, really saddened," he said. "First and foremost really sad, and really disappointed. I believe in James. That's why I posted $100,000 bail for him. I don't believe in some of the people giving him advice. I don't know what to make of this. James is taking my house and playing with it, and my house and my family comes first, and James had said he was going to fight this, and I would stand with him and fight this. But what James is saying is that he doesn't care about us, so I had to make a call. I tried my best for 24 hours to get James to go to court with me and reinstate the bond, but the only other option was to call the bail bondsman and have him picked up."
James is currently in Ventura county jail and, to our best knowledge, is thirsty and hungry but is not being abused or tortured. Ventura county jail is known to be less abusive than L.A. county jails, which are worse than many third-world prisons.
McAfee continued, "I talked to him repeatedly, he refused to engage, all he wanted to do was hide. But I really, really regret the turn of events."
Situation normal, all fracked up
Opinions of Mark's decision to arrange for bounty hunters to find James vary widely on the internet. Some people say McAfee betrayed Stewart, but others say McAfee had no choice to do this or he would have lost $100,000. When I asked him whether this was just about the money, he told me:
It's more than money, it's my home and my family, and that's very personal, a multi-generational farming operation, and all this jeopardizes raw milk in California. [James] never mentioned even one time that I'm concerned about you [and your farm], he blew off completely the whole issue of a bench warrant.
We cannot reach James right now, obviously, for his comments on the issue. But he did tell me in personal phone conversations that he was determined to expose the prosecutorial fraud being committed by both Ventura and Los Angeles counties, and that he was innocent of all charges and would fight this until he was vindicated. He expressed extreme fear of being arrested, hauled to jail and tortured. His torture experience in the L.A. jail system is no doubt what led him to hide from authorities rather than appearing at court in Ventura county.
This decision on his part, whether you agree with it or disagree, had the unintended side effect of putting other people's money at risk of being lost. But I spoke to one of the other people who put up money for James and he told me, "The money doesn't matter to me. This is about James beating this case."
For Mark McAfee, who was on the hook for $100k, the money apparently did matter enough to call up the bounty hunters and track down James. From one perspective, it's hard to fault him for this. He did put up the money when needed, and losing $100k is difficult for anyone to swallow, much less a raw milk farming operation that's also under constant assault by the state of California.
Another question on everyone's mind in all this is: why did James Stewart go back to his house? If he was "in hiding" while trying to fight the corruption and criminality of the DA's offices in California, returning to his house would have been the number one worst tactical error. Even the Terminator knows that. The most logical place to "reacquire the target" is at his home. Although I can't read James' mind, if he was going to fight these charges from outside the system, he clearly made a huge tactical error returning to his home. These California prosecutors don't play around. You can't get sloppy when dealing with these types of power-hungry who are clearly on a campaign of personal vengeance against James Stewart.
My heart goes out to James, who I believe to be innocent of all charges and to be a victim of a vicious, FDA-funded campaign to destroy the raw milk industry. I remain concerned that even if he is cleared of charges in Ventura county, he will be transferred to the L.A. jail system where officials there may literally try to kill him. Such is the reality of a socialist police state (California) where law and order has devolved into runaway gang-style criminality on the part of so-called "law enforcement."
