(NaturalNews) If someone told you he or she cured his or her cancer with color therapy, would you believe it? You may understandably categorize it as new age nonsense. Well, it appears that it's for real and not just for cancer. Colored light therapy was originated mostly by an American physician, Dr. Edwin Babbitt, in 1878, and developed scientifically into Spectro-Chrome therapy for virtually any malady by Dinshah Ghadiali, who had immigrated to New York from India during the early 20th century.

Despite the harassment and law suits in Dinshah Ghadiali's adopted home state of New York, he was able to continue practicing, training, and selling the equipment needed until around 1946. He was supported by AMA practicing physicians who were using his colored light therapy successfully, even in extreme cases that medicine of the 1920's through early 1940's could not handle.

What You're Not Supposed to Know

It was not until 1946 through 1948 that Spectro-Chrome therapy was crushed by the Medical Mafia's use of the court system in New Jersey. Dinshah's therapy had been getting too popular among health professionals and ordinary people. So a rigged court and judge had their way. His and others' equipment was destroyed in a publicized spectacle similar to the old FBI raids on bootleggers during prohibition. Dinshah Ghadiali was fined $20,000 and placed on probation for five years.

How could something that doesn't work be the target of such a destructive campaign from the Medical Mafia? Consider that there are auras, and the colors indicate particular subtle energy fields capable of influencing organs in different ways. Very few humans, maybe many cats, can see auras. But can you see the energy coming into your WiFi computer or cell phone? Yet, an effect is achieved on a material object. So much for this crude analogy of color or vibrational therapy basic theory.

Colored light energies are always present and do no harm, unlike electro magnetic radio frequencies which are invisible and often harmful. Even the UV rays of sunlight initiate the manufacture of Vitamin D3 in our bodies. It seems this is all easily understandable. But when colored light and water is introduced as physiological and psychological therapy, well, the woo-woo attitude tends to set in!

Yet both the Navy and NASA have been experimenting with color therapy in limited fashions. During the past several years, there has been the medical practice for treating premature babies with Bilirubin Syndrome (jaundice) by exposing them to blue light, although the methodology is somewhat different from Ghadiali's.

Ellis Peterson, a retired math professor and electronics engineer who has been studying alternate healing treatments for over 30 years states, "I have personally studied Dinshah's Color healing methods and I have one of his original Color projectors. I have used his color filters and projector for over 20 years and have found it's curative, healing powers to be beyond words."

In May 2003, a contemporary doctor in Columbus, Ohio, Dr. Teresa E. Quinlin, confided to writer Joy Gardner in a personal conversation, "My experience with the lamp [Spectro-Chrome] is nothing short of stupendous. Burns, infections, pain, and cancer have all had remarkable improvements."

From World Research Foundation (WRF) website comes this individual's (unnamed) commentary: "I have had personal experience with the Spectro-Chrome system over the last twenty years. . . . I have personally been involved with, and witnessed results in, the application of Spectro-Chrome in over one hundred severe medical conditions."

He continues, . . . "There are several hundred articles published in reputable scientific and medical journals relating to the effects of light on biological functions, such as Volume 453 of the Annals of the New York Academy of Sciences, 'The Medical and Biological Effects of Light'.. . . I believe that color therapy is one of the most successful, yet non-invasive therapies in the world! It is also one of the easiest to use; it can be done by laypersons." [All emphasis within quotes are the author's]

A Brief History of Colored Light Healing in America

It actually goes back to ancient times with practices such as gem therapy. Different rays and colors of sunlight through gem prisms were used to alleviate various maladies. In the mid-19th century, two Americans developed therapies using sunlight and colored glass and water therapeutically with enough success to influence Dinshah Ghadiali while he was a physician in India.

Dr. Edwin D. Babbitt's book which is still in circulation today, The Principles of Light and Color first published in 1878, detailing experimental findings using colored light and its effects upon living systems, and Dr. Seth Pancoast, author of Light and its Rays as Medicine (1877) were the two influences on Dr. Dinshah Ghadiali.

Dr. Ghadiali was confronted with a challenge by a friend whose niece was almost dead from mucous colitis, and no other medical interventions of that time were succeeding. Dinshah decided to apply what he had studied from Pancoast and Babbitt. Within three days the emaciated, once nearly dead girl was up and walking!

How could Dr. Ghadiali not be impressed! After arriving in New York City in 1911, he became involved in the American Association of Progressive Medicine in 1918. He continued refining the discoveries of Babbitt and Pancoast in order to have a complete index of lighting and color for healing various ailments.

In 1920 Dr. Ghadiali gave his first lecture on his version of color therapy, Spectro-Chrome therapy. He had created a healing protocol that anyone with the proper equipment and training could use. Over the next four years, Dinshah had trained over 800 professionals and lay persons and provided them with the necessary equipment.

Among them was Dr. Kate Baldwin, the Senior Surgeon at Philadelphia Women's Hospital for 23 years. She wrote an abstract for the Atlantic Medical Journal in April 1927 reporting that she could usually get better results with color than with all other forms of treatment combined, including surgery, and with much less trauma to the patient.

She usually had 11 rooms with Spectro-Chrome sessions underway at a time. Even terrible burn victims recovered more quickly with less pain. She got to the point where Spectro-Chrome was used for most of her medical situations. She also said that if surgery was unavoidable, Spectro-Chrome improved recovery time and results.

By 1924, the exponential rise in popularity for color therapy had come to the AMA's attention and disapproval. A Journal of America Medical Association (JAMA) report claimed Dinshah's therapy was a fraudulent hoax. Of course no investigation was necessary. Professional jealousy and concern over monetary gain is all the AMA and Big Pharma need to attack inexpensive alternatives!

It was Dr. Kate Baldwin's testimony, along with Dr. Peebles and Dr.Hanor, in the New York State Supreme Court of Buffalo, NY, that helped Dinshah win a 1931 fraud court case against him even though he was his own lawyer! After only 90 minutes of deliberation the jury delivered a not guilty verdict. But as usual, the AMA was not through with their attempt at suppressing a successful therapy outside of their domain.

By 1933, Dinshah Ghadiali had written his Spectro-Chrome Encyclopedia. At least his legacy was intact and available for his sons to continue later. Dr. Kate Baldwin had passed away a few years before the 1946 New Jersey trial, which was presided over with what observers believe to have been a bought judge. After that crushing verdict, the raids began and continued over a two year period.

Current Status of Spectro-Chrome Therapy

Today, Dinshah Ghadiali's son Darius Dinshah and his two brothers have kept this therapy alive by publishing a practical manual written by Darius in 1985 called Let There Be Light, which was in its eighth edition circa 2005. The non profit organization he and his brothers have created is The Dinshah Health Society. They have a website.

Darius's book is educational and for the home use of color therapy to enable many to treat themselves. But they are keeping a low profile as a non-profit educational organization to keep the authorities off them. Their harsh, unjust lesson has been learned. They do not provide the equipment, but they do provide what needs to be purchased, and it doesn't have to be expensive.

The therapy does not require high wattage light sources. Even 60 watt bulbs are sufficient. Glass slides, as used by Dinshah Ghadiali, are difficult to get with the right properties for his therapy. Roscolene plastic color gels (filters) seem to work just as well and they are easier to obtain and carry around.

In Spain, a cancer treatment center, staffed by medical professionals from different countries, uses color therapy and Rife treatments (http://www.naturalnews.com/027104_c...)
as adjuncts to their Budwig dietary approach. That center has been successfully treating cancer patients from all over the world. The AMA can't mess with them there!

This therapy's efficacy, along with others that are often crushed by the Medical Mafia and continually attacked by Quack Buster sites, have proven themselves anecdotally over and over. The idea of scientifically proving efficacy and safety is absurd in the face of thousands of people walking in sick and walking out well after treatments. That is all the evidence that is needed.
