The conference was fantastic success, and the participants included Edwin Veelo, founder of Fitura.com, makers of one of the most potent anti-viral tinctures on the market today (www.Fitura.com), Steve Sinclair, co-founder of the superfood company Enerfood (www.EnerhealthBotanicals.com), Kataline - a graduate of the Institute for Integrative Nutrition school in New York (www.IntegrativeNutrition.com), and many other fascinating people. The event included: • A "group juicing," where all twenty five of us ventured into my organic garden, harvested celery, cabbage, carrots, cucumbers, mint, lemon balm and other herbs which were then collected and made into one large healing juice that we all enjoyed. (Amazing!) • Mandatory "berry breaks" where we paused the conference, walked to our berry bushes, and ate the most beautiful and delicious red raspberries you've ever seen. • A "Mani butter pudding" creation and tasting event, where we harvested huge amounts of mani greens (a relative of the peanut plant), juiced them into a paste, and added raw cacao powder and stevia to make Ecuador's first "mani chocolate pudding" that the group greatly enjoyed! • Isometric exercise demonstrations that taught participants how to stay strong and healthy without using any exercise equipment whatsoever. • An in-depth discussion of the 50 top strategies for health and longevity. We only made it through 36, actually. The other 14 are being recorded this weekend. Clips from this list will be shown on NaturalNews. • Super delicious, 100% vegetarian meals including exotic juices from "naranjilla" fruits that grow on our property in Vilcabamba. • A guest presentation by Yves, an astounding permaculture expert who runs an organic gardening community in the highlands located outside Vilcabamba. Yves shared his wisdom on protecting soil, humanure composting, conserving water and minimizing financial expenditures while growing an abundance of foods. • Amazing Q&A sessions and group discussions on topics like detoxification, food addictions, dietary changes and much more. • A guest presentation by Jay Schumacher, a holistic psychologist who helps people unlock their true healing potential by transforming false beliefs and painful memories into new possibilities. ... and, of course, much more. It was a fun, educational and truly heartwarming event. I can't wait to share video clips from this event with NaturalNews readers. Upcoming eventsI can't say when we'll have our next conference. It might be early 2010 after the hotel and conference center opens here in Vilcabamba. But we will hold another event in the future, and it will encompass everything described here and much more, too!
