On May 3, 2009 The Facts (dot com) quoted Health Services Coordinator Becky Gore-LaRoche of Brazosport Independent School District, as saying the new vaccines "effectively will eliminate the diseases in schools". No references were provided to support her optimism, perhaps because no such evidence exists. There are however several risks associated with vaccines and these have been well documented. Vaccine Ingredients Vaccines contain many substances that have no place in the human body: * Foreign DNA * Foreign RNA * Fetal tissue * Mercury * Monkey tissue ...got monkey? Needless to say, these substances are particularly dangerous when they are injected directly into the bloodstream as they bypass the body's normal defense mechanisms. Vaccines can act like a brick on the accelerator of your immune system, providing short term power while quickly burning out the engine. Nonetheless, Gore-LaRoche claims that "in 5 to 6 years all high school students will be vaccinated". Will the State Health Department be willing to accept liability should "all high school students" become ill due to the vaccines themselves? Probably not, in fact the Patriot Act specifically removes any liability for vaccine manufacturer. Will History Repeat Itself? In 1976 there was a "Swine flu" and President Ford urged "every many woman and child" to get vaccinated. Only one person died of swine flu, but 25 died from the swine flu vaccine. Many others suffered permanent neurological disorders. One third of a century later, the media receives more funding from Big Pharma than ever (thanks to Direct-to-consumer-advertising). Beyond the evening news shows that are scripted by advertisers, TV drama's routinely paint vaccines in a positive light while demonizing those who avoid vaccines (before breaking for another drug commercial). By the Numbers Consider the following: * 1 in 200 people on average will suffer an adverse reaction to a given vaccine * About 4.5 Million students live in Texas * 22,500 students on average will be harmed by these new vaccines * Side effects include Cancer, MS, ALS, Diabetes, Crohn's Disease, Palsy and Autism Gore-LaRoche did offer some truth when she said "We're going to have to immunize a lot more children in a short period of time". Yes, with so many people becoming educated about the dangers of vaccines, those planning on injecting everyone really don't have much time. ____________________ Stats Don't Lie, Big Pharma Does Protecting small children against "deadly diseases" like measles is the usual mantra of the pro-vaccine crowd, but just what is the likelihood of someone actually dying from the measles? Consider the following approximate statistics: *The odds of being struck by lightning: 1 in 5000 *The odds of being killed by terrorist in the US: 1 in 100,000 *The odds of dying in single car trip: 1 in 4 Million *The odds of dying in single plane trip: 1 in 50 Million *The odds of dying from Swine flu in the US: 1 in 300 Million *The odds of dying from measles: 1 in 300 Million Thus a person is 75 times more likely to die in a car accident every time they get behind the wheel than they are likely to ever die of measles. These statistics should put in perspective the type of fear mongering taking place in the media and at the hospital. Clearly, the measles and "swine flu" should be least of our worries. Any time a warning is issued about something "deadly" one must ask "how deadly". In most cases the cure is far worse than the disease. Some who are more trusting of vaccines will argue that the low risk of measles is due to the success of the vaccines themselves. However by the time the Measles vaccine was introduced in 1968 the measles rate had already declined by 99.4% (between 1901 and 1967) due to better sanitation. Most viruses were showing a similar downward trend long before vaccines were introduced. ____________________ Mandatory Vaccination Many people noticed last year how the flu vaccine was being pushed more aggressively than ever. Once reserved for the elderly, flu shots were suddenly recommended for infants. Next flu season we will likely see recommendations of 3 vaccines "for every man, woman and child". Now, despite only one US resident dying of "swine flu", major media outlets are welcoming compromised rights, forced vaccinations and even martial law to protect us from this "pandemic". Some are even willing to sacrifice Freedom of Assembly. After all, it's to protect small children (and several large ones). Forced vaccinations may clearly be interpreted as grievous bodily harm by those who oppose them, which in most states authorizes their use of self defense. As C.S. Lewis wrote: "Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive".
