(NaturalNews) Just when the world thinks that a horrible virus has been brought to its knees and nearly eliminated from humankind we have scientists reconstructing them in the laboratory to prove an end. Case in point, the recent recreation of the polio virus. It has been reconstructed in the lab by scientists at Stoney Brook NYU (New York University) using the genome or blueprint for the polio virus. These scientists recreated the virus to prove it could be done. Then to prove its virility, they injected it into mice. The synthesized duplicate proved quite lethal. The lab mice became paralyzed and died.

This type of science had its beginning in the early seventies under the infamous "War on Cancer" initiated by President Nixon. The genetic engineering of viruses was an enigmatic part of the Special Virus Cancer Program under the auspices of the National Cancer Institute. The unsuspecting populace thought scientists were forging a "War on Cancer" when in fact they were also creating viruses to the potential detriment of humankind. Thirty years and millions of dollars later we are losing the battle with cancer. However, treatment with limited success continues unabated. Ironically, this virus recreation takes place when people are considering stopping polio vaccinations because the disease appears to have been eradicated.

It is questionable if any infectious disease of this nature is ever totally eradicated. Considering the interdependencies of life forms and life cycles involved in the development and transmission of infectious diseases, it is doubtful that true eradication takes place in any disease but rather a cycling down due to skillful manipulation of ecological and human circumstances. Therefore, does the recreation of a dangerous virus have a more sinister agenda? Are viruses created and released to pad the pockets of pharmaceutical giants or for possible genocide?

Some claim that the AIDS virus was manufactured. It bears a strikingly close connection to the initial engineering of these and other "emerging diseases" that continue up to the present time. A process known as "species jumping" was observed by scientists shortly after the discovery of reverse transcriptase through the manipulation of retroviruses. These viruses were used to target the immune system producing detrimental effects on it. Many viruses were transferred between different animal species which included adaptation to human cells.

The Virus Cancer Program proved a failure in its mission to find cancer causing retroviruses in humans and the program was winding down around the same time (1978) that government scientists were enrolling gay men in New York City to serve as guinea pigs in a hepatitis B experiment at the New York Blood Center in Manhattan. And, within a year of this inoculation the first cases of AIDS in gay men were reported in the same area of Manhattan. Five years later one of the same scientists, Robert Gallo who had worked for the Virus Cancer Program, "discovered" the retrovirus that causes AIDS. The hepatitis B inoculations were developed in chimpanzees – the primate considered to contain the ancestor virus of HIV. The inoculations ended in October of 1979 less than two years prior to the official start of the epidemic.

The connections between the research on retroviruses, hepatitis B inoculations, AIDS and the chimps in the New York experiments and discoveries are uncanny. In addition, the supplier of the primates in the NY area operated in Tuxedo, NY and later moved to Robertsfield, Liberia in Africa. The lab was known for proudly freeing "rehabilitated chimps back into the wild in the African bush." One might speculate about the "ancestors" of HIV in the African Bush having their origins in the chimps held in the primate labs in NY for vaccine and medical experimentation.
