A large percentage of Americans are interested in using herbal supplements to target different health conditions. Yet with highly publicized laboratory reports showing many products don't contain what they say they do, coupled with a lack of scientific research to support numerous herbal claims, consumers are rightfully wary of purchasing herbal products. Natural Bio Care™, a new company entering the U.S. herbal market, instills consumer confidence by providing unique, condition-specific formulas that are lab-analyzed for quality and clinically tested for efficacy. The company is introducing six new products at the Natural Products Expo West trade show: Young Bones™ tablets, Flexa-Joint™ capsules, Day-n-Night™ Bladder Control capsules, Clearly Glow™ tablets, Day-n-Night™ Pain Patch with Menthol and Herbs, and Simply Glow™ facial masque.

Twelve years ago, Natural Bio Care founder Dr. K.M. Hwang - a postdoctoral fellow at Yale University, former CTO of Genelab, and the holder of 12 drug patents - did not expect to start an herbal company. A scientist by profession, he came across some traditional Chinese formulas in a nearly forgotten herbal formulary book from the Sung Dynasty (960-1279 AD). Dr. Hwang seriously doubted that an herbal formula could support bone health and regeneration or improve joint mobility. But the researcher in him was curious, so he decided to test the different formulas' efficacy. Sure enough, they worked. In fact, they worked so well that Dr. Hwang decided to assemble a top-notch research staff, thoroughly investigate each formula, and make them available to the public. Thus Natural Bio Care was born.

The Natural Bio Care line includes four dietary supplements: Young Bones™, which relieves mild, everyday stiffness and may help generate new bone mass; Flexa-Joint™, which relieves mild, everyday stiffness and improves joint health and mobility; Day-n-Night™ Bladder Control, which improves bladder function and control; and Clearly Glow™, which supports a clear and glowing complexion. Natural Bio Care also manufactures two topical treatments: Day-n-Night™ Pain Patch with Natural Herbs and Menthol, which provides deep penetrating pain relief for muscles and joints, and Simply Glow™ Facial Masque, which creates healthy, radiant skin in just 15 minutes.

What sets Natural Bio Care apart from the crowd is the commitment to research. The company's R&D staff includes some of the most famous Ph.D. scientists in the international biotech community. Dr. S.Y. Liu, Ph.D., chief scientist, trained at Yale Medical School and holds a number of patents for anti-viral and anti-cancer drugs. Dr. V.S. Lo, CFO, has a Ph.D. in physical chemistry and is the former director of Watson Pharmaceuticals, Asia. Other scientists on board include Dr. S.K. Liao, Ph.D., a preeminent scientist in immunotherapy; S.S. Lee, M.D., Ph.D., a well-known orthopedic researcher with over 60 published scientific articles; and C.S. Cheng, a doctor of herbal medicine and one often recipients of the 2001 Best Doctors in Acupuncture in Taiwan award.

As part of their commitment to research, Natural Bio Care's first-rate scientific team makes sure that each product goes through extensive testing before it is released to the market. "The company sets extraordinary high standards for themselves," says Ronald Sallon, U.S. Director of Operations for Natural Bio Care. "Each product goes through years of research that costs millions of dollars before it goes to market." For example, Young Bones has been tested in vitro, in vivo and in human clinical trials. The in vitro tests found that Young Bones stimulates the action of osteoblasts, cells that form new bone tissue - which is good news for bone density. The in vivo tests show that Young Bones supports bone strength. And a human clinical pilot study of 16 post-menopausal women, performed by Dr. Susan E. Brown of the Osteoporosis Education Project, found that Young Bones relieves mild, everyday stiffness and may help generate new bone mass.

Natural Bio Care's world-class production facilities are subject to extensive quality control procedures, similar to those used by leading pharmaceutical corporations. A true pioneer in the industry, Natural Bio Care grows all of the ingredients for their 100% organic herbal formulas in their own fields. This allows the company to strictly monitor their products' quality from the seed to the end user. But it couldn't have been any other way - the plants only work when they are grown in the exact region of China from whence the ancient book came. "When the Natural Bio Care scientists tried to reproduce these herbs in different parts of China, they didn't work," explains Sallon. "But when they were grown in this particular region of China where the book was written - they did work, proving that the condition of the soil plays a very large part in the efficacy of the herbs."

In addition to offering their formulas as finished products, Natural Bio Care will also supply them for private label to manufacturers. The formulas can be used as stand-alone products or can be safely blended with other ingredients. For consumers who value an herbal approach to healing, but want assured quality and efficacy, Natural Bio Care will be a welcome discovery.

About the author:Mike Adams (aka the "Health Ranger") is a best selling author (#1 best selling science book on Amazon.com) and a globally recognized scientific researcher in clean foods. He serves as the founding editor of NaturalNews.com and the lab science director of an internationally accredited (ISO 17025) analytical laboratory known as CWC Labs. There, he was awarded a Certificate of Excellence for achieving extremely high accuracy in the analysis of toxic elements in unknown water samples using ICP-MS instrumentation. Adams is also highly proficient in running liquid chromatography, ion chromatography and mass spectrometry time-of-flight analytical instrumentation.

Adams is a person of color whose ancestors include Africans and Native American Indians. He's also of Native American heritage, which he credits as inspiring his "Health Ranger" passion for protecting life and nature against the destruction caused by chemicals, heavy metals and other forms of pollution.

Adams is the founder and publisher of the open source science journal Natural Science Journal, the author of numerous peer-reviewed science papers published by the journal, and the author of the world's first book that published ICP-MS heavy metals analysis results for foods, dietary supplements, pet food, spices and fast food. The book is entitled Food Forensics and is published by BenBella Books.

In his laboratory research, Adams has made numerous food safety breakthroughs such as revealing rice protein products imported from Asia to be contaminated with toxic heavy metals like lead, cadmium and tungsten. Adams was the first food science researcher to document high levels of tungsten in superfoods. He also discovered over 11 ppm lead in imported mangosteen powder, and led an industry-wide voluntary agreement to limit heavy metals in rice protein products.

In addition to his lab work, Adams is also the (non-paid) executive director of the non-profit Consumer Wellness Center (CWC), an organization that redirects 100% of its donations receipts to grant programs that teach children and women how to grow their own food or vastly improve their nutrition. Through the non-profit CWC, Adams also launched Nutrition Rescue, a program that donates essential vitamins to people in need. Click here to see some of the CWC success stories.

With a background in science and software technology, Adams is the original founder of the email newsletter technology company known as Arial Software. Using his technical experience combined with his love for natural health, Adams developed and deployed the content management system currently driving NaturalNews.com. He also engineered the high-level statistical algorithms that power SCIENCE.naturalnews.com, a massive research resource featuring over 10 million scientific studies.

Adams is well known for his incredibly popular consumer activism video blowing the lid on fake blueberries used throughout the food supply. He has also exposed "strange fibers" found in Chicken McNuggets, fake academic credentials of so-called health "gurus," dangerous "detox" products imported as battery acid and sold for oral consumption, fake acai berry scams, the California raw milk raids, the vaccine research fraud revealed by industry whistleblowers and many other topics.

Adams has also helped defend the rights of home gardeners and protect the medical freedom rights of parents. Adams is widely recognized to have made a remarkable global impact on issues like GMOs, vaccines, nutrition therapies, human consciousness.

In addition to his activism, Adams is an accomplished musician who has released over a dozen popular songs covering a variety of activism topics.
