Boston researcher Dr. Michael Holick's new research is proving to be a big hit in the tanning industry. Experts are heavily touting the study which says that UV rays from sunlight (or tanning beds) are actually necessary for good health. The researcher says sunlight can help prevent a number of diseases, including cancer, stroke, high blood pressure and heart attacks. Tanning industry representatives are busy promoting the study and finding the funds for even more research.
