It's wonderful to see Western researchers study natural healing remedies
that have been used for thousands of years. Licorice root is one of
those. It has been long recognized by naturopaths, herbalists and
practicioners of Chinese medicine as a powerful curative herb for use
against not only cancer, but also diabetes (it helps regulate blood
sugar). And, by the way, I don't mean the artificial licorice candy you
can find in the store. I'm talking about licorice root, available only
in health food stores. As this study shows, a molecule extracted from
licorice root kills prostate and breast cancer tumors in a highly
selective way that protects healthy cells -- unlike chemotherapy which
kills everything. Chemotherapy is barbaric and entirely unnecessary.
It's a cruel procedure that essentially nukes the body's immune system,
doing far more harm than good. If more people would turn to healing
plants like licorice, green tea, chlorella, coconut oil, broccoli, and
wheat grass, they wouldn't find themselves experiencing the symptoms of
