These are products and services I personally use and highly recommend to others. They include health products, technology products, services and food & grocery items. Nobody pays to be listed here. I do not earn affiliate fees, kickbacks or sponsorship fees of any kind for listing products here.

Health / Nutrition Products:

Best dental herbal powder: Check out Dental Miracle. This is a serious herbal powder product for healthy gums and teeth. Just dip your toothbrush (with toothpaste) into this powder and brush away! I've been using this for months and absolutely love it.

Best healing food: garlic. This amazing food boosts immune system function, has antibacterial and antiviral properties, and has been proven to not just prevent various cancers, but to also treat cancer and cancer tumors. Can be used both internally or externally. Best when eaten raw or just slightly cooked. Top garlic supplement company: Wakunaga of American (Kyolic) at www.Kyolic.com Check our their aged garlic products. According to the National Library of Medicine, aged garlic can literally stop cancer tumor growth and proliferation. They're outstanding for use on prostate cancer and breast cancer in particular.

Best-testing superfood powder: Earth's Promise by Enzymatic Therapy. Get the kiwi / strawberry flavor. It's truly the best-tasting supergreens thanks to the citric acid and stevia in the recipe. It isn't the most potent supergreens formula, though, and it is a bit on the acidic side. Almost half the recipe is fiber, too, which makes it less nutrition for your dollar. But if you've had trouble stomaching the other ones I recommend, try Earth's Promise. Ask for it at any health food store. It's pricey, but easy to swallow.

Best Salmon Oil: check out a product called Salmon Essentials from Mera Pharmaceuticals. This product combines heart-healthy salmon oil (rich in omega-3 fatty acids) with astaxanthin, a potent antioxidant with an astounding track record in protecting the nervous system, eliminating arthritis pain, and fighting free radicals. I've seen this one product lower one person's LDL cholesterol by over 75 points in six weeks, with no other lifestyle changes.

Best whole food concentrate: a product called "Berry Green" from New Chapter, available at most health food stores and many natural grocery stores. It combines organic whole food concentrates of leafy green vegetables, berries and other healing superfoods. It's quite pricey, but the healing potential of this product is enormous. For one thing, it contains ingredients that offer strong prevention of prostate cancer.

Best spirulina: When you buy spirulina or products made with spirulina (one of my top recommended superfoods), make sure it's Spirulina Pacifica harvested from the waters of Kona, Hawaii, by a company called Cyanotech. This company farms the most nutritionally potent spirulina in the world. And thanks to the deep sea waters off the coast of Hawaii, this spirulina is free of contaminants found in many other coastal waters of the world. When you buy spirulina, make sure it's from Hawaii.

Best Noni: Every noni company claims they have the best noni in the world, but at a recent natural health trade show, I tasted over a dozen noni products. Most are just sugar water (or fruit juice) combined with a touch of noni. The exception to this was a product that only the courageous dare consume: Certified organic noni juice concentrate from Kahuna's Secret, a noni company run by surfer dudes near Hilo, Hawaii (on the big island). This stuff gives you a dose of real noni, without fillers, not that watered-down garbage you've probably tried from other companies. Talk about a taste punch, wow! It tastes like prune juice filtered through road tar. And, of course, the antioxidants and healing phytonutrients are right there in every tablespoon. If you really want superfruit nutrition and you're done toying around with sugary noni drinks, get the real deal from Kahuna's Secret.

Best food bar: Larabar. I'm astonished at how simple, healthy and nutritious these food bars are. These bars have just four ingredients, and there are no added sugars, no preservatives, no fillers and no refined carbs. Larabar does it right! Yes, it's still high in carbs, but they're fruit sugars, not refined sugars.

Best colloidal silver: I've surveyed the market, and the best currently available is Silver 100. They have a unique process, honest marketing, and a rock-solid product that I've personally seen tremendous results with. This product can literally be a lifesaver for people threatened by severe infections, pneumonia, or aggressive infectious disease. Plus, it's remarkably safe (just 100 parts per million of silver).

Best source for rainforest herbs / Amazon herbs: The Amazon delivers powerful healing herbs, and I'm only aware of two companies currently selling rainforest herbs that are harvesting them in an ethical way. My #1 recommendation is the Amazon Herb company, which I strongly support in terms of their product line and business ethics. I personally have no financial involvement in this company, but Terry Pezzi, a distributor of Amazon Herbs, has agreed to donate 50% of her profits to global charities that support nutrition and healing. To order products, contact Terry at (520) 247-1700 (USA number), or email [email protected]. My favorite products are Recovazon, Illumination and Arcozon. Lots of products from this company are anti-cancer and immune boosting.

Also deserving a mention in the rainforest herbs category is Rain-Tree Nutrition, headed by Dr. Leslie Taylor, a naturopath who used rainforest herbs to cure her own cancer (and then went on to create an entire company sharing healing herbs with the world).

Best clothing company: Nobody compares to Tilley for outstanding hats, travel clothes, and top-quality shirts, shorts and slacks. I rave about this company's products. They're Canadian, and they're passionate about making the world's best hats (no kidding) and keeping customers absolutely thrilled. You can't go wrong with this company. Highly recommend. (Watch out, the prices are steep, but the clothes are top quality.)

Best rice protein: Rice protein? You bet. Rice protein is my favorite protein supplement. It doesn't have the health problems of whey protein, nor the sharp taste of soy proteins. Rice proteins go down smooth, and the texture is perfect. I've tried several brands, and my favorite (by far) is Nutribiotic Vegan Chocholate Rice Protein (made with brown rice). It's unsweetened, of course. Just add some stevia and blend with soy milk, peanut butter and half a banana for a delicious, nutritious drink. Available at health food stores.

Best new health technology: The BioPhotonic Scanner from Pharmanex. A non-invasive scan determines the level of antioxidants in your tissues, essentially predicting your health future. I've published a free downloadable report on this at www.TruthPublishing.com. Click here to read more.

Best soy protein: Try the "Super-Red Pro-96" soy protein powder from Nature's Life. In fact, Nature's Life offers these soy proteins in red, blue and green varieties, each with phytonutrients from the appropriate food groups. The red has cranberries, beets, grapes, and so on. The blue (my favorite) has blueberries, bilberries and grape skin. The green has superfoods like spirulina. These are my favorite soy proteins, and their phytonutrients truly prevent chronic disease. The blueberries, for example, lower cholesterol naturally. The red protein helps prevent prostate cancer. Available at health food stores.

Another good soy protein: Unsweetened Spiru-Tein "simply natural" flavored soy protein from Nature's Plus. A bit on the pricey side, but the flavors are outstanding and they've finally introduced a line of unsweetened products. (Use stevia to sweeten them yourself.)

Best nut: My favorite is the macadamia nut, which is native to Australia, by the way (not Hawaii, as most believe). Offers tremendous benefits to your heart and cardiovascular system. I eat 10 - 15 macadamia nuts at least twice a day. I also recommend macadamia nut oils and butters. Expensive? Yes. But good health is worth it.

Best shampoo: Olive Oil Shampoo from Heritage Products, a company that follows the Edgar Cayce philosophy in healing tonics. This shampoo is absolutely fantastic. I've tried dozens of products, and nothing beats this: it has no annoying fragrance, no toxic ingredients, and is made primarily with olive oil soap and coconut oil soap -- two ingredients that are fantastic for your scalp and skin. Brand-name shampoos don't even come close to this quality. Find this product at any health food store.

Best Soap: Dr. Bronner's Soap, available at any health food store. This product is absolutely the best: no artificial fragrances, no gimmicks or coupons, and it seems to last forever. Brand-name soaps are a joke compared to Dr. Bronner's. This family-run company sells honest products and reasonable prices. Definitely worth supporting.

Best whole food vitamin supplement: If you want to get your vitamins and minerals in pill form, my #1 recommendation is Alive! Whole Food Energizer by Nature's Way. It combines the best of all the food groups to deliver a powerful combination of healing phytonutrients, vitamins and minerals. Avoid the new Alive Whole Food Energizer meal replacement shakes, however: they're sweetened with fructose. I'll recommend this when they switch to stevia or Lo Han.

Best source for chlorella: Swanson Vitamins offers kosher-certified, open cell wall chlorella sourced from Japan. The price is good, and the source is outstanding.

Best sweetener: Stevia earns my highest recommendation, and it's a natural sweetener that I use on a daily basis. This sweetener, available at any health food store (and even many grocery stores these days) won't alter your blood sugar, contains almost no calories, and yet adds delicious sweetness to foods and beverages. You can learn my #1 recommended "secret source" for stevia in my free book, Secret Sources For Healing Foods and Natural Medicines.

Best grain: Quinoa earns my highest recommendation. Boil it, then eat it with soy milk like a cereal (or a pudding), or use it in recipes. Quinoa offers a complete protein, fiber, and complex carbohydrates. It's truly a miracle food that blows away wheat, rice, corn or any other staple grain.

Best grocery store: Trader Joe's wins this one by offering the best selection of healthy foods and groceries at very competitive prices. This is my #1 recommended source for unsweetened soy milk (just $1.19 for 24 oz.), turkey jerky and organic salads. The only problem? Their inventory management system sucks: they still order products by hand, which leads to supply problems from time to time. Get with the program, Joe!

Exercise-Related:

Best chair for your back: The Swopper. This is the chair I use, and it keeps my back strong and flexible while I sit at a desk for hours each day. It's the best chair I've ever owned. Read my full review of the Swopper.

Best physical exercise: Pilates earns my #1 recommendation here for being the absolute best form of physical exercise regardless of your age or physical condition. Originally created by a man, Pilates is far more popular with women these days, but men need this training more than ever. Talk about an ab workout!

Best strength training theory: Read Power Factor Training by Pete Sisco. It blows away common myths about strength training and gives you a whole new foundation in understanding how to gain strength and muscle mass by working out less frequently than you ever thought possible. This is the training I follow to maintain muscle mass.

Best exercise equipment: Buy yourself a TerraTrike from WizWheelz.com. It's easy to ride and you can't fall over, since it's a trike, not a bike.

Technology Products:

Best MP3 player: I've purchased over a dozen MP3 players, and nothing beats the iRiver iFP-895. Battery life is fantastic (around 25 hours on a single AA), the software really works (unlike other brands' software), and the MP3 encoder / recorder is simply stunning.

Best PC backup device: The Iomega REV drive takes the prize on this one. I've used it since the day it was released, without a single error or problem (which is unusual for Iomega). The unit is fast and reliable, and as a bonus, you can cook breakfast on the cartridges because they get hot enough to fry eggs.

Best cell phone service: Virgin Mobile is fantastic: no monthly bills or long-term contracts, great online service, and every phone has an easy way to check your current balance.

Best desktop PC manufacturer: When it comes time to buy your next PC, I strongly urge you to go with Hewlett-Packard PCs. As the president and CEO of email marketing software company, I have a lot of experience buying computers, and no manufacturer has a better track record in my experience than HP. Their PCs simply don't break: they keep running for years, even when you leave them on 24 hours a day. And the prices are outstanding. Kudos to HP.

Best inkjet source for inkjet printers: Go with Carrot Ink. They have honest products, great prices, and an easy-to-navigate website that helps you find the right ink or toner cartridges for almost any printer. Fast shipping, too.

Best language learning course: In my continued studies of Mandarin Chinese, I've tried dozens of language courses. Nothing beats the Pimsleur method for learning a spoken language quickly and fluently. Highly recommended.

Does your product deserve to be listed here?

Send me a sample (one only please) and I'll try it out. If I absolutely love your product, it may get on the A-List. There are no fees to be listed here, and we do not accept money from companies. You cannot buy your way onto this list. You have to offer an outstanding product. That's the only way to get listed here. (I'm not joking. No payola. About the author:Mike Adams (aka the "Health Ranger") is a best selling author (#1 best selling science book on Amazon.com) and a globally recognized scientific researcher in clean foods. He serves as the founding editor of NaturalNews.com and the lab science director of an internationally accredited (ISO 17025) analytical laboratory known as CWC Labs. There, he was awarded a Certificate of Excellence for achieving extremely high accuracy in the analysis of toxic elements in unknown water samples using ICP-MS instrumentation. Adams is also highly proficient in running liquid chromatography, ion chromatography and mass spectrometry time-of-flight analytical instrumentation.

Adams is a person of color whose ancestors include Africans and Native American Indians. He's also of Native American heritage, which he credits as inspiring his "Health Ranger" passion for protecting life and nature against the destruction caused by chemicals, heavy metals and other forms of pollution.

Adams is the founder and publisher of the open source science journal Natural Science Journal, the author of numerous peer-reviewed science papers published by the journal, and the author of the world's first book that published ICP-MS heavy metals analysis results for foods, dietary supplements, pet food, spices and fast food. The book is entitled Food Forensics and is published by BenBella Books.

In his laboratory research, Adams has made numerous food safety breakthroughs such as revealing rice protein products imported from Asia to be contaminated with toxic heavy metals like lead, cadmium and tungsten. Adams was the first food science researcher to document high levels of tungsten in superfoods. He also discovered over 11 ppm lead in imported mangosteen powder, and led an industry-wide voluntary agreement to limit heavy metals in rice protein products.

In addition to his lab work, Adams is also the (non-paid) executive director of the non-profit Consumer Wellness Center (CWC), an organization that redirects 100% of its donations receipts to grant programs that teach children and women how to grow their own food or vastly improve their nutrition. Through the non-profit CWC, Adams also launched Nutrition Rescue, a program that donates essential vitamins to people in need. Click here to see some of the CWC success stories.

With a background in science and software technology, Adams is the original founder of the email newsletter technology company known as Arial Software. Using his technical experience combined with his love for natural health, Adams developed and deployed the content management system currently driving NaturalNews.com. He also engineered the high-level statistical algorithms that power SCIENCE.naturalnews.com, a massive research resource featuring over 10 million scientific studies.

Adams is well known for his incredibly popular consumer activism video blowing the lid on fake blueberries used throughout the food supply. He has also exposed "strange fibers" found in Chicken McNuggets, fake academic credentials of so-called health "gurus," dangerous "detox" products imported as battery acid and sold for oral consumption, fake acai berry scams, the California raw milk raids, the vaccine research fraud revealed by industry whistleblowers and many other topics.

Adams has also helped defend the rights of home gardeners and protect the medical freedom rights of parents. Adams is widely recognized to have made a remarkable global impact on issues like GMOs, vaccines, nutrition therapies, human consciousness.

In addition to his activism, Adams is an accomplished musician who has released over a dozen popular songs covering a variety of activism topics.
